Job Description

As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our company’s computer systems and networks. You will monitor for security breaches, investigate violations when they occur, and help design and implement security standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

Monitor computer networks for security issues, and investigate and respond to security incidents.
Install and configure security software and tools to protect systems and data.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses.
Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and help educate employees on security best practices.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in an information security or cybersecurity role.
Proven experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, and vulnerability scanners.
Strong understanding of risk assessment, incident response, and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
Familiarity with network protocols, and system administration on Windows and Linux.
Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
