Technical Writer (Contract)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for our APIs and software products. Your work will be crucial in enabling developers and end-users to understand and effectively utilize our technology.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain world-class API documentation, including endpoint descriptions, request/response examples, and authentication guides for a developer audience.
• Create detailed user guides, tutorials, and knowledge base articles for our software products to assist end-users.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to ensure the technical accuracy and completeness of all documentation.
• Establish and maintain a consistent style, tone, and voice across all documentation assets, adhering to our brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical writing for a software development audience, with a portfolio of writing samples.
• Exceptional ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them in a clear and simple manner.
• Hands-on familiarity with documentation tools such as Swagger, Postman, Stoplight, or GitBook.
• Impeccable written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
